I recently had an email from trion saying that my account was compromised and temp banned until i secure my account and make sure it's only me that has control over it. So i was curious to ask who else has gone through this process and how long i should expect to wait. I know some people on the forums who were banned outright for violating TOS and have been waiting weeks, false or not. But i didn't know if compromised accounts had any priority or if the response time took just as long.

And this is my alt forum account due to my main one not even being able to log onto glyph.

Hi, Trion.
It's been five days that I was unfairly banned because the ban wave so I can not prepare myself for the next update, I'm missing the event hellowen, I can not pay my rates will entail the loss of my four properties. I'm super frustrated because of that because I never used any type of bot, hack and much less bought or sold gold.
Please Trion fix it so I can return to my family (guild) and continue playing my favorite MMO. I'm already sick because of this waiting.

PS: Several people have had their accounts restored with new reference than mine.

We also had a friend with an account banned, he can't even log in to get post here. We will lose 5 or six properties because of it. He's never hacked or botted, his computer simply broke about 3 weeks ago and we've been paying his taxes until he can get on. The land was fairly gained during headstart. Save Happy :( We emailed from his email about it and no response! We want to save our land and his account!

I got banned on the 22nd and unbaned on the 25th.

Not sure what happened, but the email saying I was unbanned said "your account was compromised and we are returning it to you" or something along those lines.

Funny thing is my account was never compromised, I was ingame when banned.

No idea what happened.. what a mess.

Hi, we are posting this on the behalf of our friend who had his account unfairly banned. We got an email from trion saying such and such account compromised banned etc. However, i don't see why his account was banned we have been taking care of his account for him as he broke his computer like two weeks ago and was coming back in a few days so it may seem he is a land bot as his account has like 5 properties due to us thinking ahead in headstart, and the real kicker to him being kicked was the fact we just spent 30 dollars decorating his house as a welcome home gift for him when he got back. so i would just like that this get resolved quickly so he doesnt lose his land nor do we lose the $30 some dollars we spent decorating his account. Hi taxes are up in like a week and half for the property to be destroyed i hope this can be resolved before that happens cause that would be a huge blow to us and him and would basically make me want to quit this game because of how trion is treating its paying customers. Thanks for listening to my ranting but hopefully someone at trion sees this and maybe does something about it, it is kinda ridiculous the amount of bans you are just throwing at legitimate people for no reason. #unbanHappy

HOW THE HELL are you supposed to "Secure your account" when you cant get in to change your email or password? How botched is that! I should go play this game in Korean. This is starting to look hopeless. I'd be less agitated if my RIFT account wasn't off limits too.

well, they are slow because they used the banwave approach, which was quite pointless in the long run against hackers and botters anyway, but a good show for the playerbase...
and we have to pay the prize for it, as unfair as it is

That's the thing. I wasn't in the brainwave. I got banned Saturday night because my account was compromised and they said it will be temp banned until I get it secure

Was playing a new char stepped away from keyboard came back moved my toon and was logged out due to another logging into my account so I am sure I was hacked no one has my info or password. told a guild mate on TS and they saw me logged in while I was trying to recover my account. I understand that it is the weekend and that they temp banned my account to stop alternate access but then to stick me with the task of securing my account with out the ability to talk to someone or even chat with someone and no actual way to secure it (change PW and such) sucks.

program did i use invest money in your game apex an credits how did use 3rd
party programs please explain more im clueless on what cause this ....

my archeage account Never botted nor hacked or buying and selling illegal gold. i was playing whole day no problem with 2 friends, but 7 hours after i went offline, i couldnt login anymore, just got banned. Did not even get an email why I got banned.i spent more than 500$ USD in this game ,and i dont know why been banned ,plz could you help me just check my account payment and all the details and u will see i am 100% legal player , thank you very much

Heres a TIP.. Don't Bot, Marco, AFK with keys pressed in, Mod,BUY GOLD, and you will be good. Also Secure your accounts with 2 factor and no 1 can hack your account !!!
