You are standing to close to the plot. You can't place it probably because you are standing on it. Move a few steps back and try again.

Yes you can place down a farm when you inside the range. Try it before you post. Or simply post one design turns red only because you standing too close to prove me wrong

Also your picture shows you nxt to 2 large farms so you could be placing that small farm at a pumpkin farm area so it isn't allow to prove your point?
Maybe show one nxt to a built cottage then we can clearly say he exploited. But right now it's still uncertain

He's showing pictures in the main Falcorth housing area. No restrictions there.

I'm not sure this is actually a bad thing. If it means new players trying to place their first scarecrow farm wont have to compete against land resellers dropping cottage placeholders.

Allthough its not really that hard for a land reseller to get hold of multiple scarecrows , it might slow them down some.
