Is it worth using labor to gain experience with these plants versus, say, the money you make from fishing runs (assuming you dont get ganked)? Is Experia a supplement to library grinding or a substitute? Assuming you have a decent amount of land, are they worth planting?

I make about 200g a day in the current deflated market with the 2k labor from being online 24/7. I'm not sure if it's worthwhile to cut some income for extra exp gain.

they aren't a substitute just a way to get some bonus xp on the side since you will be grinding library for days or weeks you prob wont have much time to use labor anyway so if you have the money for experias and don't like grinding id do as many experia plots as you can

I love the idea of these, I just hope the return is worth it in terms of the xp they provide.
i wasn't able to test this out but I plan to jump on it once everything is live.

I eye balled the math a few days ago and Experia plants are about 10 times more labor efficient than using labor through crafting, gathering, or fishing at t1. This is offset by the fact that you dont actually gain anything but exp from them. It's basically a way to exchange your gold for exp. If you don't want to do any grinding what so ever, it would take about 10,000 gold to go from level 50 to 55 doing nothing but eating experia plots assuming zero t2 or t3 prots on the plots (which isnt a reasonable assumption at all but simplifies things for discussion)

Due to their size if you run, for example, a nice larder factory your income will take quite a hit. They can be very costly to make as well but the cheapest option, sunflowers, is also the most effective when rating by xp gain per hour.

A summary of poster Debi's results from the other thread (http://forums.archeagegame.com/showthread.php?168333-Experia-Plants-Costs/)
These XP results are for a lvl 54 for the Sunflowers, and lvl 55 for Pumpkin and Ducks. The pine data is extrapolated from Debi's original data based on growing time.

Sunflower Pumpkin Ducks Pine*
Base 41,300 94,255 337,096 540,000
Radiant 80,897 184,248 663,096 1,060,000
Glorious 199,687 760,582 1,643,896 3,111,000

Now to find a way to teach my horse to harvest ducks...

Something to point out is that the actual labor costs for these are extremely low, you make them like any other bundle (1 to 5 labor each) and harvest them like bundles or woodlots. The ducks were 120 labor, the pumpkins I think were 50, the sunflowers 20.

As soon as the server comes up again I'll see how the pine xp is (as well as seeing what effect maintenance down time has on these things) and post the info in the other thread.

Just remember these are basically the maximum xp, a level 50 with 0 skill makes a lot less xp, but I'll make notes and give that info after it hits live.

I think these bundle will encourage the return of unprotected/illegal farms. It mostly aims at the casual population who don't have a lot of time grinding. Either ways, imo, it's worth it.

I'm working on this spreadsheet as i gather data. I can plant up to 74 Experia tomorrow. I'll be updating it live as data comes in.

That's a good idea. I put aside all the resources to make 20 duck plots right when the servers come up, do you want the XP data from them or are you just going to stick with your own data?
