As the title says, when i sprint, the screen starts to flicker with a rate of 1.5 per second. Quite annoying.

We'll want to look into this, but does the flickering still occur when you perform the suggestion from here (https://support.trionworlds.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1736)? We want to be able to pass this info along!

This doesn't happen on the Alpha server for me, only the closed beta.

I also notice when sprinting there seems to be a shutter or flicker every so often.

I still have this problem. :/ Is there any updates on a fix for this?

I have the same problem as Lefty. Everything is maxed and using direct x 11. When I get home I will try to update my graphic drivers and will also try move the slider. Will provide feedback after.

Note: Changing to direct x 11 did seem to improve the problem, but still flickers.

It does but for me whenever someone or something touches my character that's when it happens

Can't sprint without screen flicker no matter what I turn on or off. Only change is the more graphics options are turned up the more it flickers.

Same problem here, on DX9. Did notice it today for the first time. Does not always happen - about 20 minutes during 5 hrs of gameplay.

with friends got the same issue, on both nvidia and amd cards, in windowed and fullscreen mode, its like camera resets for a short time to default view/zoom while runing while holding right mouse button

I'm having the exact same problem, no matter how high or low the graphics are, or if it's windowed/fullscreen or DX11 or 9 I still get the flicker, it is really irritating.

I'm on Windows 8.1
8GB Ram
i5 2500k 3.3ghz
560ti Overclocked

When walking around I get around 60 fps, when sprinting it goes down to about 55-58 however when the flicker happens it goes down to about 7-10 for a split second.

Guys, the screen flickering is most likely from the amount of people on your servers. When too many people get congested when you speed run it will cause what seems like flickering, but what probably is just server lag. It happened in all the beta's I was in when the servers were under severe load. Give the game time to even out. We have a lot of new players logging into the game today....Official launch ftw.

P.S- The flickering will go away once people start logging off or when you get into a zone with a crap ton less people. Also, the more people online, the less fps you will probably have compared to the alpha/beta. Again, this will change when the servers die down a bit.

The area I was in had maybe a dozen people in, walking around I was at 60+ FPS, only when sprinting it happens, nothing else changes.
