I like how this explains how screwed up Ollo is, 2 people ran in the thousand range of packs(almost 2 thousand) 3,4,5 ran at under 100(so less then 4 trade ships of packs)

The simple fact is that this is possibly the worst event ive ever seen.

There should of been a timer implemented on these trade packs so that it forced the whole point of the event, open water battles.

Instead people had a whole week to make packs, store them on land closest to the trade in points(if you were lucky enough to have said land), then turn them in without ever setting a foot on a ship.

Next time you(trion) plan on an event like this, make the packs have a time stamp of when they were made then only allow packs made DURING the event count as part of the tally.

I promise you the people who won didnt step one foot into tge water during this so called "open water pvp" event.

Hey ♥♥♥♥ty Tahyang rat, on Ollo we ran almost 20 tradeships with 2 raids per night for Zakai. Ignitar was direct enemy competition, and he also moved tons of packs. The fact of the matter is that planning and daring were required, and although many staged their packs, the vast majority where moved overseas during the event. Congratulations to iggy and Zakai for getting those sick numbers, well done Z E R G B O Y S.

This isnt a screenshot, its a video of Scapes saying it will be per server, clearly saying not per region.

Rewards will be distributed through in-game mail to the top 5 traders per region.

SCAPES saying it was changed to per server.

screwed up? oh please. This shows that a ton of people CAN work together to achieve a goal. GG

This competition was a really good challenge and the fact that Ignitar and Zakai both turned in so many packs is amazing. Hat tip to all that joined/helped.

You're kidding, right? Sure, people staged hundreds of packs, but you can only stage so many. My guild was running packs across the ocean nearly all day all 3 days. gg.

Being the Tahyang winner I can tell you we didn't have a single pack staged overseas and every one was transported via ships during the event. We were also going crazy in the final hours and I don't see how the guys on other servers that doubled our numbers are not committed to a mental ward right now :p

2k packs is almost 100k labor just to turn in? I'm more impressed by burning that amount of no cool-down labor pots than the packs themselves.

We (Zakai's support) had staged a few hundred packs beforehand in preparation for the event and then moved many packs during the event wit the help of many people. We're a relatively small guild but we have powerful alliances and it's amazing how well everyone worked on this, even with the opposition blockading/trolling at the turn-ins

91632 labor for 1992 packs...

That would be 5000 starting labor, 36000 labor in regular worker's compensation (6 NA toons), 8640 labor via regeneration, say 300 via sleeping, and some 40000 via other methods. Crazy!

eh you guys zerged hard for zakai, Ignitar never had more than 10 people per run and even then they ran 2 tradeships. I dont wanna know how much zakai had to pay for the labor pots and mats to hand in those packs.

We weren't really aware of the event till a day before. All packs were crafted at most 1 day before, no packs staged already overseas. Lots of lost packs. Everything moved via trade ship. I'd say this is decent coming from a guild of like 5 active members? Haha!

Congrats Jyna!

Yes... we did step foot on a boat to deliver the packs. We made them the day the event started and continued to make them as the event took place. We delivered them to a variety of different ports cross continent. We delivered over 1000 packs!!!! We made this a guild effort and had a blast at it!!

Really? Because there is in fact a post under the Naima forum talking about how awesome the PvP was during that weekend.

Those packs had to be moved across the sea at some point. Fact is sea traffic was way up for a solid week, and there was more action and people did have fun.

Don't be a sore loser if you weren't able to leverage a team to assist with the effort or weren't savvy enough to plan ahead.

Someone is salty.

This event was pretty great for me. For one I'm super proud of my server.

I took a break after Auroria and came back a week ago and this event just proves we're one of the best small servers (and by small I mean, the place is usually quiet). We still have lots of 50+ players looking to scrap but not such a terrible PvP culture. As a f2p gamer I've been taking it slow, trying to earn gold with trades to buy Apex, which is at a really inflated price on Enla, like 3-400g for one Apex, which has taken me off the quest leveling superhighway, so yeah, PvP against players 20+ levels over me isn't my favorite.

I'm hoping Enla will become a really healthy server for trades and services and that we did the best out of all NA is really encouraging.

This event motivated me to finally build my first clipper to participate (a HUGE investment as a strictly f2p player) and just as it got off the dry dock in a secluded residential corner with only a few "away" players around (and someone who was sleeping for LP, not that I knew what he was doing) a whole guild rolls up on me (and at this point I haven't seen more than one or two people running around in game at a time). They hop on my clipper, someone took the wheel, steered us into conflicted open water, and killed me in a duel, landing me in jail because I had 72 infamy points from stealing secret farm goods back in November.

Then they apologised, looked after my boat until it derezzed, came and broke me out of jail (another first for me, getting broken out, not jail time), gave me a trade pack, and escorted me over the water to turn it in for the event.

So yeah, I spent a ton of LP (without pots), gold, and gilda, got a clipper, some loyalty points (hopefully, if I can ever get in game to check on them) and met some cool people, so this was a great event and people who cry about the lack of PvP, open water or otherwise, honestly just make me laugh.

That being said, I wouldn't have minded an event timer to let us know when the event is counting down.

Stop crying I won first place on my server, didnt stage any packs already close to the land I went to freedich for the majority of my turn ins. I was able to pull off 649 packs with little to no preperation.
