View Full Version : Windlords stuck with 40% less hp

Hello! Now I know this isn't a super-gamebreaking bug for most people, but for me, this is a painful issue I really hope can be resolved!

I tried making a thread - here on these forums (http://forums.archeagegame.com/showthread.php?195877-Windlord-Low-Red-Health) || and even on reddit (http://www.reddit.com/r/archeage/comments/37vj23/oath_of_shackles_windlord_pet/) - asking if people would be willing to tell me what was 'wrong' with my pet - As to this day, it still has an abnormally low amount of health, still marked ominously in red.

You can see here, his maximum health is 6583, with the KC armor & helm & BC legs.

Taking off the battle armor - the only part that grants hp. As you can see here (http://archeagedatabase.net/us/item/25310/), the Windstorm Battle Pet Armor that I use, is supposed to grant +1500hp. However in the screenshot, we can clearly see the hp has dropped to 5683, a loss/change of 900hp, rather than the advertised 1500. Obviously whatever is affecting my pet here, isn't just the base help, but all additional modifiers as well.

Further proof of the above statement: With all armor on, his hp goes from 6583 max -> 7834, which is not the advertised 2086 health granted by rank 4 Auramancy's Health Lift. Again - plugging the numbers into a basic percentage calculator (http://www.percentagecalculator.net/) shows it(and all other health-changes, including battle-armor) to be a 40% loss.


At this rate, I do not know if any other stats are also cut down this drastically, as only the health is colored so. However, I'm not calling for a 'buff' to this pet, so much as a 'fix' right now, as obviously something is very wrong here, when my lv.50 boss pet with armor has less hp than level 30+ cats and dogs.

Wondering at another thing, I took it a last-minute step further as far as scaling goes:

Starting with a naked-mana-pool of 4215, equipping the BC Battle Pet Armor should have made it go up (+660) to 4875 mp. Instead, it's up to 5205, which depending on how far past the decimal you round it, is a +23.5% scale. Sounds fine for a 'caster' pet, with the exception that all of its abilities have somewhat-lengthy cooldowns, instead of the 'lower'/faster-cd damage hits like a wolf pet has. Because of this, the slight improvement to mana really doesn't balance out the extremely low hp.
