Greetings Adventurers!The day has come for the server transfers to begin! While we know that many of you are eagerly awaiting the transfers, we are still performing some final testing and maintenance work.After testing the server transfer functionality, there were a few items that needed to be fixed before the service can be opened to everyone. These issues were in-game, and did require us to receive a new game update from XL before we can open the service. Today's maintenance updates the game and fixes the issues, but it also means that we will not be able to offer transfers until the European maintenance is complete later this evening. Once that is done, we will do a final check to make sure everything is in place and then we will open server transfer requests.Until then, we will continue to update this thread with any new information that we have. Full information on the transfers and the restrictions that will be placed on your character once you apply are also listed below.Thank you for your patience, Adventurers!Q. What must I change on my character to qualify for a transfer?In order to qualify for a free transfer, you must fulfill the following requirements:

Your character must be on a server affected by the Evolution.
Your character cannot be online at the time you apply for a transfer. You may come back online after the application has been completed.
You may not possess over 200,000 gold.
You will no longer be a member of a family or a guild after the transfer.
You cannot have any marketplace mail or in-game mail.
You may not have any items listed on the Auction House.
You cannot own any land.
You cannot have a dry dock under construction.
Your character cannot be queued for deletion.
Please ensure all of your summonable vehicles and ship components are repaired.
Your character must be level 10 or above.
You can only transfer everything in your inventory, warehouse, and equipped to your character. If you have more items that cannot fit in this amount of space, we recommend sending those items to your alternate characters and then transferring them to the same server. Players with storage chests will have to unpack their chests if they wish to transfer. We know this is a major pain point for everyone involved, but we were unfortunately unable to find a workable solution to this issue within the architecture of the game.
Q. Can I play ArcheAge after I apply for a transfer?Yes, you will be able to continue to play ArcheAge, but your character will be "locked" and restricted from performing certain actions until we process transfers on September 8th. These restrictions are as follows:

Locked characters cannot be deleted.
They may not be able to buy or sell goods from the Auction House or receive mail from other characters with an item or currency attached. Please make sure all transactions of this type are completed. You will still be able to receive system mails and participate in events, such as the Anniversary Event.
They cannot place a house, dry dock, farm, or private workbench.
If part of a guild, they cannot be promoted to guild leader.
They cannot receive outstanding goods or gifts purchased from the Marketplace.
They cannot transfer items purchased from the Marketplace to their “received” mail folder.
Note: Locking a character for transfer will disable your ability to purchase ArcheAge Packs and APEX on the Glyph Store until the server Evolution is complete.
After locking a character for transfer, please do not redeem or apply an ArcheAge code on Glyph until the server Evolution is complete. It may cause your transfer to fail.
