You fail to link the entire conversation before this point that makes you look bad. You tell me how depressed you are...and I shed a tear for you IRL and play myself a song on my worlds smallest violin. He then goes on to explain that he is TRUSTED and his reputation is at stake. After all of this reassuring and agreeing to the deal. He then backs out. FYI the time to back out is before agreeing to a deal, not after.

Guild affiliations had no part in the conversation, I didn't even know guild he was til I saw him. I was also allowing him to control the trade due to his trustworthiness and guild reputation he was putting on the line. He simply could not be scammed in any way on this trade.
