Is it really that complicated to separate the EU and NA versions of the game? In short, yes. ArcheAge is literally built with only one time zone in mind. All of Korea only has a single timezone, and every timed event runs off of that internally coded schedule. As the game won't run if a different server has different data (like times) it's a core engineering change. This is why no matter what region you're logging into, you always get the same times for the events. The game's build is hard coded that way. The crux of our request is to move the times out to an external location that the build reads from. That way we can have more flexibility when events run for different regions, and changing an event timer wouldn't require a new game patch like it does now. (And remember, if you patch the game that means you have to make the change, test the change, build the patch, deploy it to the server, test again, and then go with it. It's not a simple process to patch a MMO like many believe.) But, having both regions have separate time tables that are external and easily changeable is what we're looking for here. It would be a great change for the game, but it's sadly not an easy one.
