Good morning everyone.We have a final answer on the system from the designers on how buildings damaged in sieges are to be handled by players.The short answer is that the building needs to be demolished once it gets into that state. After talking with the team, the way the marketplace despawns NPCs below 25% health is intended. That way, the owning guild is pushed towards demolishing the building and paying the building cost instead of repairing. The gain in this situation is that the owning guild gets to keep the building design through the demolition process, rather than losing it completely.If a building is completely lost in a siege, the design is also destroyed and the defending guild needs to get that back too.The team designed the system to push players towards protecting these buildings behind castle walls, however they did note that it's completely up to the players/guild where they may want to build their structures.Now, all this being said, XL is considering changing the cost of territory structures in future updates, so the loss portion of the system will be subject to change. But, the way everything is working right now is completely intended.
