There are a Ton OF DX .DLL's all of mine are 43 which is a new version? Why do I want to downgrade to play a game? I have multiple other MMO's on my PC just issues with this? Any idea how to fix this?

Is your computer up to date via Windows? Believe it or not, but not all errors are the launcher's problem. Many of them are user-errors.

You won't downgrade, it will install an instance of 42 on your computer so game that need 42 will use 42, if the game support 43, it will use 43.

I have tried to do this repeatedly, however, it says it cannot complete the installation. Brand new PC Windows 8.1 ...what am I missing here please? To be more clear, I also have the d3dx11_43.dll files and I am unable to use the link above to install/re-install my version of DirectX. The exe. downloads fine from the Microsoft site, but when I try to install the program it fails to complete giving me an error message to check by dxerror.logs etc. I looked at them and they are lengthy, complicated, and impossible for me to discern any useful information on what is going on wrong here. Any advice or fix would be really great. Brand new PC and the game won't run now.
