Thoughts on this build? warfare/protection/sorcery

Looking to make a really nasty burst dps/cc/tank build for protecting traders from ganking/ anti pk build that is about drawing all attention to him and controlling the battlefield and causing chaos in pk attempts. I want to really cause alot of chaos during gank attempts.

What I want is lots of slows and debuffs, aoe hits and the ability to take damage well to draw all attention to myself and deal with lots of incoming attacks and ccs but still be able to burst aoe and burst single target down quick for nice getaways for my clients.

I am more than willing to sacrifice any PVE usability for this build, so if this combination for Magic Knight is no good then give me a better suggestion.

Mmm... Well, I haven't had the opportunity to play, so my opinion isn't really informed or worth all that much, but if you're looking to combine magic and physical skills, I think you'd do better with Conjury or Necromancy as opposed to Sorcery. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but Sorcery's skills seem to be, at least primarily, for straight-up damage-dealing. Simple attacking. To get the most out of skills like that, you'd need them to hit as fast as possible and/or as hard as possible, ne? I'm guessing that you're not going to be swinging a staff or anything around, though, so you probably wouldn't be getting the most out of your Sorcery skills. Necromancy and Conjury, on the other hand, are chock-full of skills that throw out negative status effects rather than focusing on dealing damage, so you might get more out of them.

Well I do want alot of burst damage dps to take out targets with aoes so that's why I"m looking at Sorcery, but I will def look at those you mentioned, thanks for the suggestions! These are fights that I plan on doing myself so i want a nice anti zerg build that is good at fighting against groups alone.

Would cloth armor or heavy armor be better for that build?

Just beware that Heavy Armor gives you zero magic resistance and I mean it literally. So you'll go poof when Mages focus you or you'll just get worn down by all the AOE magic dmg. Also, the build has no mobility so you'll have to rely on third party maneuvers like glider or mount to get in and out of the fight. It's not very convenient, so prepare to get kited during mid fights. You'll nvr gonna reach Archers or Mages standing in the back line. I would much rather go this build, one of my favorite:

Defender (www.archeage-impact.de/index.php?site=talentplaner_eng&action=jumpIn&talents=410101100111000103101110011100010020100001 101100110)

zero magic resistance

lvl 1 char =?

can agree with this one

1 vs 300 =?

your build Defender has strange skills but you right that you gona get tankier. If you gona survive with this one 300 people is another question
