Alright, mine has a bit of a story.
After installing the game, adding my Credit Card and Paypal as methods worked fine. I was given an error in processing payments for APEX a couple of times and figured that maybe I needed Patron status.
(Not the case, I'm fairly certain I bought one before getting Patron)
I attempted to buy the $49.99 starter pack, which failed on my paypal, and then tried once more to have it work.
I purchased another APEX with MUCH difficulty afterwords.
Then, after that... it wouldn't let me purchase anything else at all, not straight points, not Apex, nothing.
I removed my credit card as a payment method early on, seeing as I could use debit from paypal and didn't need it, I figured I could remove then re-add PayPal and it might help...
I was incorrect. I can no longer add ANYTHING as a payment method.. not to mention, my first attempt at buying the starter actually worked, but then was refunded?! So I was charged twice, and am waiting for the funds to be returned to my PayPal.

This system is quite an annoyance... I just want to buy stuff without these issues. /sadface.

Having same problems as so many others, can't add a payment method. Tried Mastercard and Paypal both. Thought maybe it was me because im abroad atm, so I've been trying for a week +. Seems so many others have this problem though too. Would appreciate a hand Trion. I want to give you my money. @.@

Update: Got a response, whoot! Sadly the fix didn't take so it's up for attempt #2 :) Glad to see such a quick response!

Update2: Whoot, got it fixed! I was advised to try adding the spaces in the CC number like "xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx" and see if that worked and it did indeed work. The field automatically takes the spaces out but it worked anyways. I suspect the parsing routine for validating CC numbers may have gotten borked at some point. Hopefully, they'll get a permanent fix in soon.

One of the reasons I am quitting. Just gonna sale my land and give the mula to my guild. Been trying to save a payment for two months now. I don't even like trion since my account has been hacked twice in the past when I was playing Rift. Of course, I recovered it on my own without Customer Serv. By some god's grace they say "Hey we fixed the payment issue." Ima still quit cuz whytf should I save a payment on an account someone can hack. You can just buy anything without any authorization once it is saved.

The ONLY work around is to get with live support on this.

I had the same issue because I was using Visa gift cards. Like, a LOT of Visa gift cards. My account was flagged as a false positive for credit fraud so getting with live support they were able to reset the alarms on their end that were flagging it and all of the transactions I was trying to make initially went through just fine, credits included.

You have to get your alerts reset, especially if you've tried unsuccessfully multiple times and are receiving that error. There's no way for purchases to go through otherwise.

Better wait in queue and cross your fingers you get someone.

I don't want to clog up support with tickets, and was wondering if this could be taken care of without submitting one. My main account, which is this one was banned. During that time I started another account (Twolfe) but could not make purchases. You guys fixed it so my new account could make purchases. My main account has been reinstated and now I would like to be able to purchase things with this account too. So if possible could you fix my main account like you fixed my new account?

Main account = TimberWolfe = Purchases don't work
Alt Account = Twolfe = Purchases do work

Many thanks. If this isn't the right way to go about it I can submit a ticket, just didn't want to clog up the system with a strange request such as this.

Trying to purchase patron membership. No error messages when adding payment method...but all text fields highlight in red forced data reentry. I receive emails referencing an invalid card but I know that is not the case I've double an triple checked my data as well as attempting 2 different cards. PayPal authorization never completes either. Just returns me to the "add a payment method" screen to rinse and repeat the process. Very frustrating. Please help.

You guys gotta get this issue taken care of I read all 138 pages of this thread and thats ALOT of people this has happened to; how many people gave up? how many people never posted on this thread, how many customers just gave up the first 10 fails and never tried or played again....This has already costed you guys a alot of money. I almost gave up myself and I really love the game at only 3 days in, minus labor issues which have been plaguing me, which is one of the reasons I am becoming a patron...I got very very frustrated over this and upset to the point of me being rude and ugly to my family over it, bout to pull out my hair. I and the others affected IMO should be granted some kind of compensation I believe for our troubles to improve your consumer relations. I need a free labor potion or something! This is the worst MMO billing problem ive ever experienced and I've just about played all the MMO's, i started with EverQuest in 2000 and loved it for years. Loved Star Wars Galaxies too, and this game is the closest game to that original SWG experience ive had and I LOVE that about it and I love the game. Please compensate us for our pain and suffering if at all in your power to due so. If you take care of us, we will take care of you. I will spend at least $100 when I get paid on monday if all goes well. Thank you GM Fasti!

Update: Was in fact able to add a payment option and make a purchase of 3250 credits for $20.00, after purchasing my patron membership for 2400 credits i'm left with 850, I really want to get one of the 1345 credit mounts! If for my frustration and to make me happy and want to spend much more money in the future with you I think I deserve to be rewarded with the 495 credits I need over my 850 to buy the mount I want! This would make up for all the time I wasted and frustration and pain/suffering I experienced over the issue before it got resolved. I wont have anymore money till Monday and this would brighten my weekend! Thanks again GM Fasti!

This is likely caused by a false-positive fraud flag on your payment method. It should now be cleared for those in this thread.

Just why would mess up this as well as your launcher? This is money lost. I do not understand your a shop with a closed sign on it & yet your standing at the counter wondering why no customers are coming through the door. absolutely mind blowing. :rolleyes:
p.s. it is my belief, you guys are a part time wannabe shop keepers. whom really, have no idea how to run a shop let alone be able to open it! if you were in the street, I think you'd remain shut as your location would be in some sort of dark alley, or a speak easy, I do not know why you just don't get some white spray, spray all the windows & doors so we can't see in, or simply, just close the door, as your support is 100% lousiest ever.
