Hello everyone,

As a fan of retro video games, i've tried to make a piano cover of Sonic 1 & 2 OST.
And i will add more videos with the time.

OST Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Megadrive/Genesis - 1991)
Compétence/Proficiency 31850

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joa0DJIJiOE

OST Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Megadrive/Genesis - 1992)
Compétence/Proficiency 40340

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwCu2g1dfcY

OST Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64 - 1996)
Compétence/Proficiency 50080
The sound may hurt your ears at the beginning, probably a bug occured while uploading video, because this sound is not present on my encoded video. Sorry about that.

OST Zelda III : A Link To The Past (Super NES - 1993)
Compétence/Proficiency 52350

OST Shining Force 2 (Megadrive/Genesis - 1994)
Compétence/Proficiency 55480

Do not hesitate to tell me which parts could be improved.

Nice bro I am still new to the game you must teach me how to do this :) All of them are accurate. Is there a way to load codes from MIDIs into the game?

My english is not perfect, but i'm going to try to explain briefly ;)

You should try to download 3ML Editor software. With this you can import midi files and convert them to MML format, that fit into the game.

But of course it's not easy if you want to have similar results than what i'm playing on the video, you need to spend some time on editing the MML Code to reduce lengh and number of chords (3 maximum IG), and often MIDI you'll find have between 10-15 tracks.

And that time spend on editing make all the difference between a good and a bad bard. The more time you spend on copy/paste 2-3 chords to make one chord, the better your melody will sounds.

But to start artistry you'd better try with single chord sheet at the beginning, to understand and learn how MML langage works, like this one :

Hope it helped ;)

It's pretty neat that they've got this feature in game. So far I've heard songs coming from flutes or pianos doing Final Fantasy Chocobo theme, Sonic, Mortal Kombat and several more.

I know this MIGHT be a little off-topic, but since there seems to be so many people who know how to make any music (or most) into MML [?] (I tried it but failed, I'm a dummie so it's hard for me), can someone do this music into the MML (doesn't have to be whole) please?

Try this, but that's just Amateur version, tell me if you can play more than 200 i'll do a longer version next time.
Maybe you'll have to changes octaves manually, depending on which instrument you gonna play it.

Amazing work :D, thanks a lot! And sure, you can do the longer version. I just made second song so I have only 200 in Artistry but I'm gonna level it fast probably.
