I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who has been IP blocked from the game and Trion websites. He sent a ticket in about a month ago and has had no reply since.

A simple "We are swamped with tickets, but rest assured this one is still in the queue." would be nice.

Error 2016

Why am I getting ‘Error 2016 - The login request was not valid. Please try again later’?
Error 2016 is caused when your login request is being blocked by either antivirus or restricted networks. The most common antivirus that causes this error is Kaspersky Antivirus. The ‘Safe Money’ feature can cause error 2016 if enabled. You can test this by disabling Safe Money using the steps on Kaspersky's site here.

Restricted networks such as University or Work could be blocking a specific IP address we use when you log in. If you are on a University network, contact the Campus ISP/IT Department and provide the following IP ranges to see if they can whitelist their connection to our servers.

If you are not running Kaspersky and your PC is not on a restricted network you can try booting Windows in a clean boot state. This will also resolve 2016 errors.

Note: If you are running the patcher with an account that has parental controls can also cause this error. You will need to either disable parental controls or run the patcher with an account that has administrator privileges.
