Wow, Neo! You are a seriously talented artist! If you don't mind me asking, are you open to commissions? As in that I would like you to draw me something then I'll pay you sort of thing :3
Keep up the good work and I hope to see more!

As for your question regarding commission work, i cannot accept any right now as i am tied up with too many work-related projects at the moment, but around mid-June i should be free for commission work. :)

Updated: Added one transitional Art piece. I had to use my Samsung gs4 since i long longer have a scanner so the image quality may not be as desirable compared to a high-res scan.

I'm not going to upload anymore Traditional art pieces until i can find a place in town that does high-res scans, as the Kinko's that is here in-town is unfortunately utilizing old hardware that producing sub-par image quality and they charge a ridiculous amount of money.

I just started on a ArcheAge fanART last night that i will be adding as soon as it looks presentable.

O my, that looks really pretty! You have a nice style I must say :3
I have a question tho: do you draw the things fully digital (with tablet or something, if you use a mouse than you will be a God in my eyes) or traditional? Or do you scan in a traditional sketch and finish it further on the computer ^^ ?
Just being curious, since I draw a little myself and am always looking for new ways to do things that might work good for me, hehe x'D...
But keep up the work, I would love to see more from you! Do you perhaps have a Devianart account ?

Okay! to answer your questions! :D

When i first started doing digital art, i used a mouse; it was painstakingly hard and tedious. This was back around 2004-2005 back when i had my Pentium3 Piece of slop.

I look back on it today and i am very happy i have a Digital Tablet. I'm a left-y and i use my mouse the other hand, so essentially i drew it with my right hand, something i can't even write with today, so this took a very long time!

Here is the link for the mouse-drawn digital piece: http://neoyoshiaeth.deviantart.com/art/Sloth-20482341

About scanning Traditional sketch/line-work to the PC; i tried that at the very beginning when i first got my Bamboo tablet, later on i found that i was doubling/tripling my work-load because i basically had to clean up the scanned artwork, then draw over the already existing lines, then color over it all, and frankly, i felt like it never came out the way it would of if i finishes/polished the piece first THEN scanned it for display.

All-in-all i found scanning traditional artwork defeating and never did it again, and started projects from scratch within the work-frame of a digital program, -namely Paint Tool SAI.

Today i like to keep Traditional Art and Digital Art separate.

This whole quoting system might make my post a bit big, so I might edit it later x'D...

O wow, that is really impressive - drawing with mouse and than with your non-dominant hand too! I could've never done that. I have drawn some things with my mouse too, but they look like toddler paintings compared to what you made back in the days x'D

And you do have a point there... I use the sketch-scan technique, let's just call it that for now, since I do not like sketching digitally - do not know why, but for some reason I always go meh and delete the whole thing in the end ^^'

I've heard of Paint Tool SAI and I've also used it sometimes myself, I really liked the option that you could easily select something and fill it with one color. But I switched to Photoshop CS4 completly when I got it for some reason :S Do you use other programs aswell, since you said "namely" - just being curious again now :'D

And thank you so much for answering my questions <3

Awsome. Nice work.

Thank you StealthCat! :)

I've been busy with some Commission work so i have not had a lot of time to do some posting in this thread.

Updated the first thread with a header title, decreased the size of all the image thumbnails by 50% to save on user-bandwidth -note* I may switch the thumbnails to .jpeg's to save even more bandwidth so people with slower connections do not have issues loading the thread page.

I have been working on an ArcheAge fanART but it is not quite ready to see the light of day just yet, I've also been working on several concept sketches for the ArcheAge emblem's that people can upload to their game client when creating custom Emblems.

Here is something i whipped through really quick last night while giving myself a break from commission work.

It still needs some more touch-ups and polishing, but it's just about finished -i was too brain-dead before bed to finish it. @>@

Enjoy!

Haha, I've been good. I'm most likely not going to be playing ArcheAge with Final if they are even going play this game and I'm pretty sure they will LOL. I'm playing this game with my boyfriend and more then likely he wouldn't wanna join Final. XD

I haven't really played anything with Final in a long time since I quit SUN. I mostly just play games with my boyfriend now...

Oh. Yeah I remember the last time I checked up on Lime Odyssey...Everything was Doom and Gloom because I read that the game was cancelled until a GM said it was still in production. I was happy at that point. I hope it comes out soon, it has been TOO long for that game and my hype is pretty much gone. Not to mention ever since I played Aura Kingdom...I have to say I'm worried for Lime Odyssey because Aura Kingdom wasn't handled very well. It was such a good game, but Aeria Games was a bit too greedy and the bots were everywhere. I hope for the game's sake that it is doing better by now.

Early last year, i started work on a project for myself that entailed digitally drawing my Tera Character.

Unfortunately at one point or another, the main project file was lost while i was switching to an upgraded PC, and i was
never able to recover it, i tried restarting the project from stretch, but completely lost the motivation for the particular idea.

After returning to Tera recently just this previous week, i decided to reboot the character art project, but this time, i wanted
to do it some real justice, and because my attitude towards digital art is gradually evolving again, i am using my old friend - the traditionally medium: Pen & Ink.

*Note: i do not have a scanner at the moment, so i took the photo's via my Galaxy s4 so i apologize about the image quality
and perspectives - i dimmed the contrast a bit with a photo filter so it doesn't cause as much eye-strain.
I know about Eye-strain, i use F.lux for gaming because of the evil eye-strain demon.

Here is the concept stage:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/107024287/Artwork/PoseART001_Thumb.jpg

And here it is at the penciling stage:
Notes: When i was ready to start re-drawing her onto the Bristol paper, i found that i did not particularly like the way
her left leg was pulled back the way it was in concept, so i changed the lower half of her bodies pose to be more a leisurely stance
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/107024287/Artwork/TERA-HighELF_fanARTDIM.jpg

I started Inking the lines of the top half last night after accessorizing that portion of her.
Notes: Please excuse any oddities in the below image, it's a bit blurry and grainy and the perspective is pretty wonky. The price of using a Camera phone.

That is beyond cool!

But proportions are a little overdone, imho. You sometimes deny your females an actual ribcage... I little bit more realism with the waist-to-hip ratio would make it perfect!

Yeah i don't really like rib-cages on females, it has always been an unsightly and unattractive feature for me personally, same goes with the nose, i really dislike noses, haha.

These are things i nitpick about it my daily life so they've influenced my artwork over the years, and I've been drawing for so long now that i tend to no longer concern myself with trivial things like proportions, hehe. But i do appreciate your opinion. :)

More then likely when i start the coloring job i will put in some small details that make the presence of the ribcage a tad more visual, but overall, i love a nice smooth stomach. xD

The thing about the ribcage in your drawings is not that you didn't show it visually (like the small bumps from the lowest rib bones), but that there is no trapezoid torso on your characters. If we take for example the sketch you posted two posts above, the upper body is more or less just the size of her head in width. That is not how human anatomy works. Her shoulders need to be farther away from each other, the arms need to be a little thicker and the torso needs an actual V-shape to be anatomical correct.

I understand, and i appreciate you pointing these different things out. I tend to ignore Anatomy most of the time as it (for me) hinders my creativity and focus of what i like to get out of the process.

Years ago i probably would have gone back to square-one and re-drawn everything, but i have learned through my own experiences and from various Artist and Art teachers alike; that Human Anatomy is only important when the Artist is illustrating a human being in the most realistic form.

Which is probably why i stopped drawing that way many years ago, i really suck at anatomy, haha.

And besides, she is a High-Elf, drawing a fictional non-existent being or creature gives a Artist tons of wiggle-room. :D

Don't get me wrong, I understand your reasoning and that this style of art is definitely the most "sexy" and possibly also popular way of drawing (basicly exaggerating typical features of youth [narrow shoulders] and femininity [large hips]), but it's just ... well ... boring, for the lack of a better word.
You see, this is exactly the style of art you see in almost any concept art for games and especially MMOs nowaday: Child-like torso, slender arms without any muscles, huge breasts and giant hips such as unnaturally long legs and an uneven distribution of body fat ("fat bumps" conveniently placed on the hips and upper legs to visualize super-tight clothes).
Again, not that I have a problem with that (I'm not a feminist nor do I care about feminism), it's just so common to see nowadays that it completely lacks originality.

One of the reasons why I really like the design of Korra on the Legend of Korra series is, that her character design - despite being really basic and without any fancy accessories - is certainly unique in modern day drawings. Her proportions are realistic, she has visible muscles, a darker skin color (which is also kind of unique nowadays), correctly sized eyes and humanly looking hips while still looking sexy at that. And her whole character design has that "I'm gonna punch you in the face you sissy" feel to it that makes sense, considering we are discussing artworks about persons that are supposed to be "adventurers".

http://www.animationmagazine.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/The-Legend-of-Korra-post-4.jpg

Again, your art is amazing, but it could be even better with a little bit more realism added to the mix to set it apart from the grey mass of hyper-sexualized artwork that is just everywhere nowadays.

Yes i know the image links on the front page are gone, or they aren't showing up.

It's due to how Dropbox deals with Public viewing to control bandwidth, it essentially became a paid service, and even under a Business package, which i tried; public viewing of images still do not 100% work they way it used to.

So i am slowly migrating all of my indexed Artwork images to Imgur

To tide viewership over until i can fix this darn thread; here are my most recent projects of 2017-2018:
