hey you know what would have solved this problem? Instanced Housing! or you know not restricting people to the 300 yard of land in each massive zone to place houses down. The housing zones are entirely arbitrary choices by XL Games. there are entire swaths of land empty of spawns, trees, rocks and other objects sitting right next to most housing districts, Especially on the east side. There are huge patches of land between zones that are flat and empty as well that could be given over to housing.

Instead of stubbornly sticking to this business model that works in a region of the world where people are used to paying money through the nose for the most basic convenience in MMOs but does not work in the western hemisphere.

A lot of people weren't able to get on and it's due to the login server, not individual's ISP. Land, especially in pvp zones, were meant to be fought over. When you run freely around a pvp zone w'o anyone contesting, on a highly anticipated day then there's something wrong. You didn't earn anything but it was rather served to you. A rollback is not a must but a necessity. Allow people a fair chance to grab land.

Limit the amount of houses/farms you can put down the first 24 hrs to 3-5 max. It is crazy people are dropping 10-20 each player and seen screens of people having 30+ in their inventory.

the problem is the people placing 30+ are the whales. trion wont do this. cause they lose out big time. the only thing they can do is rollback.
