Tyhe 'PVP' crowd would still just cheeze game mechanics like hiding at safe one borders and glitching out guards which will just make way more of the respectable players quit again. We get that you can't fight actual PVP players so you need to line up more targets that can't fight back, but that's just going to destroy the game faster.
    A. stop acting like there's only two types of players. Those who only pvp and those who only pve. Most people do both. Many players want to catch up in gear but don't want to join a top guild and schedule their life around boss respawns.
    B. you keep suggesting the "top" rated guilds are only interested in killing unarmed potato farmers which simply isn't true. It's illogical and extremely biased and holds no basis in this argument anyways. You've presented no facts that this is even the case.

Its not as simple as just mashing everything together and everything would be hunky dory for everyone
This issue is caused by people have 29349234923 accounts with 23423423432 farms and I honestly don't know how to fix that issue for NA. It won't fix every issue, but it will fix many of them.

That must be why PVP players keep avoiding all possible PVP by running to other servers . . . not that they are searching for weak targets to bully and running away from people who would actually contest them. Must be that they are all stacking on one server to make it the best possible PVP server out there. Which server are they all stacking on these days?

540,000 gold from Abyssal trade packs
18 ayanad equivalent weapons i'll modestly price at 15k ea = 270,000 gold

Those 3 events alone produce roughly 1,100,000 gold a week. We won't even mention all the other world bosses, gold trader, castle taxes, and numerous other events every week. The problem with this is that MOST of these servers are uncontested and one or two guilds controls these events on every respawn. They aren't wasting time or money on buffing. They just show up at respawn and collect their gold.

Have you ever wondered why top tier weapons/armors are so expensive? Why you farm and do your trade packs every day but it still seems impossible to catch up in gear without paying. Well, there is your answer.

Suddenly, cut the amount of servers from 9 to 4. Suddenly, add in gold costs to these guilds fully buffing in order to obtain this content. Hey, look. Your trade packs are worth more. Your land farming is now viable. Is this going to put you on an equal level playing field with the top guilds? No. Right now you aren't even in the same stratosphere though.
Did this guy just say taking away my land will help me?

Alt accounts and latency in a client based game is why the NA verision of this game is a joke. Its like playing a childs verison of a board game.

I dont get why people try and argue this and that when multi account is the sole issue with NA verison of game.

If trion released a verified account server that used its own pool of credits and only allowed one account per person this game qould be pretty good.

And its not that hard to impliment at all

    1) one account per ip: at college/room mate plays? Too bad use the other servers.

    2) credit card in ur name+ id

Suee people could fake the above but its a simple soultion

Thanks for proving my point, lol. 9 servers = too many opportunities to run from PvP. Guilds want to control this world content because they know how much gold they can make off of it. Vastly reducing the amount of servers reduces the amount of opportunities a guild can simply run to a server they can immediately control.

Being against merges would only BENEFIT these types of guilds.

4 severs would just see half the PVPers quit, and even more casual quit and you'd be in this exact same situation with 1/3rd the players. Vastly reducing the amount of gold these events hand out would also fix the economy.

Making the rewards for DGS give honor packs rather than gold packs for instance would make it the go-to PVP event . . . also, make the respawns random +/- an hour and rather than have 3 places for them to spawn have about 2 dozen but they randomly spawn in certain paths.

Things like that make the game way more fun and less predictable which makes it easier for smaller/weaker groups to actually get things done sometimes. Having a chance to win once in a while is what keeps people around, the second you feel like there is no chance there isn't any point to playing.

LOL When your guilds mission is to "chase people away from Archeage", it is not a surprise that mergers are dead in the water.

How anyone can not read every begging moment of Trion to lose money and customers so you can maybe have a month of pvp without having histerical laughter is beyond me.

To compare how genuinely stupid you sound, stop by any business, ask the people to not allow half their customers in, so that they can have the honor of having you as a customer. Prepare for laughter.

Maybe if you ask for the 7314th time someone will listen.
