You don't get it, not everything in this game takes place in a 50v50 raid. And XL has been nerfing the classes that counter Dark Runners since at least 1.7.

I've actually been posting what I have posted with 30 to 35 people raids. Not 50v50 raids. And the OP is trying to prove that Darkrunner is the class that wins everything. I am proving him wrong because Darkrunner is NOT the reason raid v raid (30 V 30ISH NOT 50V50ISH) fights are won.

He also doesn't realize the change to throw dagger in 2.9 made darkrunners even better at raid vs raid. You heard it here, raid vs raid will NEED darkrunners for GCD debuffing in order to win. Throw dagger right now is an instant summon wraith.

Yes, Throw Dagger can be combo'd with Whirlwind Slash to cause a trip to slowed targets (Whirlwind Slash always tripped slowed targets actually, it was just hard for melee to use it because it would require them to run Sunder Earth). That doesn't mean a Darkrunner or any other melee class can rock up to a mageball, use throw dagger then whirlwind slash and act as if they are fine. They will get their GCD thrown to hell and will probably have a hard time getting out of the mageball.

They seem to, but they shouldn't. They especially shouldn't in a game that isn't a skill PvP game. And this is coming from the person that has done the most (by quite a bit) 1v1 arenas in NA in the past 6 months.

Staff Mage (last time i checked he was) Im pretty pretty sure drs will take him out if the DR is equal gear.

DR is still a great addition to RvR though, and having a few that can drop priority targets is essential and DR excels at with its insane mobility cc breaks, and straight up 50% damage reduction with bond breaker and shrug popped. It is seen in every major guild, and while you can't ball it like rev, it is definitely good and has an important role in rvr.

Every Kyrios or Ollo video found on Thundahawke's channel are post-2.5/2.9. Most of the class changes like Throw Dagger and Whirlwind Slash were brought in during 2.5.

Actually, most videos within the past, what?, 6 or 7 months now are all 2.5. Which is when most of the class changes came in. 2.5.
