    Hey everyone, thanks for the patience while we were working through these authentication issues that popped up. We received an updated build that took care of the bugs we discovered, and now that it is sorted, we are back on track to open up public testing today.

    We will be opening the PTS to testers today, Thursday November 30th at 3 PM PST (11 PM UTC), and a look forward to seeing everyone on the test server!

    Muzzy mentions on his Discord that "today's PTS build will not be indicative of the release build." and that it is not the same as the release build. That's fine, assuming we know what not to test versus what we are clear to test because those features are finalized. @Tinen can we get some list of this, or is none of it player-facing?

    I am working on a post right now which will outline the current known issues for the build that is on the PTS. This is an early testing build that was provided to us by XL earlier than usual, in order to let our players get on there and test. That is why some of the systems are not fully functional, or may perform in a manner that will be slightly different than expected. We will have additional builds that further flesh those systems out, and may deliver region specific customization that we have request from the XL team.

    We want you guys to get an early look as soon as possible so we can get your feedback. The earlier the testing, the more likely we can talk with XL to see what can be changed before release. This is why we've decided to move forward with this build.

    If you see anything odd or suspicious, please call it out here in the PTS forums so we can begin tracking it in our bug software and discuss it with XL to see if it may be intended or not. Thanks!

    We are currently less then 1 week away from the release date for live servers so it is far to late to start any "testing" for critical flaws.
    If this is the real purpose of 4.0 then the patch should have been on our PTS 2 months ago, considering the bare minimum time it usually takes for the dialog between Trion and XL to yield any results.


    And if you are on the lookout to stop and / or fix things in the game thats harming the game in NA / EU, then you dont need to look further than to turn the pvp in housezones outside of "war" back on, seing as that change pretty much killed all activity off in 9/10 zones the game has.

    After that, with the last crafting and traderun revamp we got about a 5x higher need of charcoal than before, while the new trade-system delivers about 1/30th of what it used to do with the old one (working directly against / doing the opposite of "helping newer players close the gear gap") as Trion claims to be their "main focus" these days. How about we fix that, preferable before the entity of Archeage's economy faceplants so hard that the game will never recover from it.

    The critical flaws you claim to be searching for in the 4.0 changes isn't the once you (Trion) should be worried about or focus on. Its the extremely bad changes you already let slip trough and that has been wearing down on the game's health for a long long time now.

    Changes that work in Korea, Russia, China etc doesn't work the same way here, as our player-base is very different and at any time should you be ready to adjust all types of changes more to fit with our region if things arent going as intended. And in the worst case scenario, revert it back to the way it was.
