    Suggestion:Player owned and operated airships

    If you will make the altitude climb as high as the public airships and make cannons and equips (and pack containers/crates - alot more crates than sea ships) similar to seafaring boats that would be nice. Keywords are player owned and operated. To add on, maybe airships can have a room that be used like an in game house, though I guess in exchange for that it'd have to stay summoned and have it's own dock.

    I thought about this later and realized if your airship could get destroyed then maybe you should make the dock a house and it could have special benches built-in for airship parts 😅

    This was already on XL Games's TODO list since the beginning, and something they've always wanted to do. Unfortunately it never got prioritized, so while we can suggest for it, it's likely already their intentions to implement this if they ever get around to doing it in a way where it would generate more content (Perhaps surrounding world-bosses you have to fight using airships, or something).

    If we had player-controlled airships, they would never have crates for packs or weapons. ArcheAge has tried very hard to avoid permanent flight in the game because of how it could affect PvP. Trade pack is a no-go simply because of how it basically nullifies all terrain obstacles and makes pirating almost impossible (if you fall off a ship, you can still recover somewhat with proper maneuvers. If you fall off an airship, you are dead).

    Airships essentially have the same problem as proposed submarine vehicles (not the mounts we currently have), which is that it overrides AA's limitations on 3D movement while the average player will still be heavily restricted by them.

    You can come back to pirate airship if you fall off and have a glider. The premise for air battle is already there. Maybe just a new layer of difficulty because you can fall. But the reward be sweeter if it can hold 30 or more packs ....and the airship deck could be bigger than a sea vessel and built in a way to handle pvpers on board without them falling easily.
