Some of you may know me, but I write levelling guides as a hobby for games I play. I previously made one for Tera, and also one for the Elyos and Asmodian factions of Aion. So, now I wrote one for here.
This guide will detail levelling from 1-50 for all races via questing. You could call it a "quest walk through" if you wish, but this seems to be the fastest way of levelling available at launch. It is not a guide designed to teach you how to play your class.
This guide was designed during Alpha (July/August 2014), and is present as on 12/1/2014. It will not be updated past this point.
All files are hosted on mega.co.nz and are available in .pdf format only. Mirrors are welcome and appreciated.
This guide is now on a "as is" basis, and errors posted will not be corrected.
How to use this guide
If you download a complete guide, you are set. You don't need to do anything else.
If you download guide by zone, scroll down to get to your specific race. Download those guides which will take you to level 30. Then head down to the shared guides and find your faction's guide for 30-32. After that, go to the "All Races Shared Guide" section to continue to max level, regardless of race.
Nice work, but there is a problem. You will not have enough LP to complete the self-sufficiency quest line, at least as a f2p. I can't remember how long it took me in CBT4 to 1-20, but I'm confident it was less than 10 hours which is how long it takes for f2p players to generate the required 600 LP for the 6 crafts. Obviously for patrons it's "only" 5 hours, but again I don't remember how long it took me to do it.
Yeah, I made an assumption that you are a patron. It's OK if you're not, as there are a lot of quests in Karkasse Ridgelands that you can do that would easily make up for that as well as various points where we open coin purses. After all, in the guide you hit 50 about half way through Karkasse.
Is the self-sufficiency quest line worth doing even as a Patron? From what I remember, the armor you gain from the quest isn't that much better then the one you can get questing around normally in Mahadevi.
It's more about the XP you get out of it than the items. By doing it, you get 18240 XP approximately, and outside of one time you have to run back to the crafting station, and one time you kill 3 extra mobs, it's no extra work. After all, as I said, there is no reason to grind mobs for the armor - they are all related to other quests.
