    I hear Crowfall is doing a complete server wipe (fresh start) this Tuesday for its newest content patch. Might be a good time to jump in. Nothing gets fixed in this game.

    Yes content would be controlled by guilds, but there is a big difference with Player Nations.

    - Player Nations recruit the highest gs players from both factions so they drain out the other factions leaving them mostly behind with low gs players, newbies etc. Which is already a big advantage and one of the reasons why they own so much content.

    -Now guilds in east and west can only have 50 members, players nations can have in total more players if they want to a max depending how many castles they own. One castle is already 100 citizens. In reality player nations work as one guild

    -There is also no real penalty for player nations they can go where ever they want on all continents for a killing zerg which pirates cant. This also became harder within factions because of the pk changes

    - player nations can make an alliance with a faction if for some reason they need it and they become green for that faction, between the normal factions this is not possible. Also an advantage for player nations. Yes factions can make an alliance with a hand shake but they stay red to each other which is a pain in a fight.

    So how this system has been made by xl it gives player nations a dominant power over the other factions and normal guilds

    The reason why pirates and now PN failed is players joining them have all the perks of the pvp experience even if they were weaker initially. Getting killed = so what? The weaker main factions have lots of weaker players to feed on so your deaths are worth many kills. Playing on weaker factions? Die 10 times to get a few kills. Good fun there eh.

    Content guilds did exactly the same thing, so its a null point outside of east vs west conflict.

    PN guilds are still limited to 50 members same as everyone else and there is nothing stopping guilds in east/west guilds from working together, which they do at Halcy, Mistsong, Abyssal, Lusca, etc.

    The pk changes imo hurt east/west because it is more incentive for people to go to player nations. We cannot fight in most of the land zones, we can be attacked first in most of the land zones. We have no safe pack/charcoal runs. PN has costs and limitations that Pirates do not, so yea they are different and so are treated differently.

    IMO PN should not be able to ally with either faction and in practice it is the fastest way to kill a server. I agree this is an issue.

    Those players would still be doing their thing without a PN as far as dominant power over the other factions and normal guilds. PN does not change this.

    The impact of PN on east/west is in the day to day play of the faction, it is not about content. Players that are in nations would otherwise be in the factions, which means more folks for faction events. When a new player joins the game, they are east or west, and a weakened faction that is unable to succeed at faction events, or respond when someone needs help, or help with a quest, etc is not appealing for a new player. This is the impact of PN that needs to be addressed, not any of the other nonsense that would occur anyways.

    You are now lords of the lands of Kraken, what will you do with it? Will you be tyrants? Will you encourage others to grow to compete? Will you prevent growth? What will you do? Your next decisions will determine the sustained life of Kraken or its demise and ultimate merger.. and so on and so on and so on... If you think this is overly dramatic, look around you.. there are other MMO's coming out very soon and players are looking to them for a chance at something different than getting stomped and mocked...

    The FS is a sad recycle of a train wreck as we can see only a month out and it has dramatically changed from what has been planned... And if you think this is all, it is only the beginning... Legacy has been all but abandoned to push FS and now with the introduction of now a new set of gear to grind for is annoying.. This does not address the issues with PN.... Trion is slowly becoming the silent partner in this as the streams become more relegated to the players that are wiling to step up and stream..

    With Bless and Ashes of Creation on the horizon what is XL's next step to keep players from jumping ship? Because this ridiculous gear is not it... Allowing PN's to continually dominate servers is not it.. Pirate is a pointless nation now thanks to the advantage PN has...
    hahaha xd.

    If you step up for pvp and win, you can have any dragons you want.

    You all say that player nations are broken when those same groups of people will still dominate your servers anyway, pirates or not pirates, nation or not nation.
