Cargo Generation not in line with recent changes

Cargo Generation not in line with recent changes

Due to the recent changes in trade pack dynamics coupled with the increase in packs required for cargo generation. This has had a negative impact to cargo due to the fact that cargo generation still requires the old pack types.

Please review and update cargo generation to require new packs such as luxury/commercial/preserved.

This would allow generation of cargo more often and ease the market

It already changes, yet again, in 5.0.
Epic Erenor Scepter - 856 Magic Att, 733 gimped DPS.
Epic Erenor Katana - 815.3 DPS.
Epic Erenor Bow - 693 DPS... worse than the gimped weapon even though it's a primary weapon.
"Balance" . . . This doesn't even take in to account the 978.4 epic erenor nodachi, or 978 mAtt staff.

True but they still need to correct the issue with generation which obviously they didn't realize or care to do thus far

5.0 you don't need to generate cargo.
Epic Erenor Scepter - 856 Magic Att, 733 gimped DPS.
Epic Erenor Katana - 815.3 DPS.
Epic Erenor Bow - 693 DPS... worse than the gimped weapon even though it's a primary weapon.

In 5.0, you have unlimited cargo and only 2 destinations Two-Crows or Diamond Shore for charcoal immediately, or Feeedich for Dragon Essence Stabilizer.
It's no longer possible to have Certified Cargo.
If you sell tradepacks (50+30+10) it's only to lower the purchase price.

What none of you people are understanding is that cargo is messed up NOW. Sure if gets "fixed" later, but we're suffering NOW and we need a fix NOW.

Fact of the matter is that players are inherently lazy.
They need to proceduralize pack turn-ins or cargo creation in a way that will force players to bring what's required to create cargo.
Since there are no 'special' requirements to trade packs, there is no incentive to haul anything save for what a play deems is the most 'profitable' pack. [usually larders]
In real life, a lack of supply of a specific product creates higher demand, thus people will pay more for it.
An excess supply of a product causes a clearance sale of the product.

So... Prices should be based on a packs/time ratio.
Each pack gets a ticker to represent product consumption [demand].
Each product can have a different ticker speed.
The more often a pack comes in, the lower it's price gets.
Each pack delivery counter gets reduced by an incrementer over time [simulating normal use of the delivered product]
Products that HAVEN'T been delivered [ZERO qty] go up in price over time [simulating a higher demand for the product].
This will make the choice of delivering them more appealing to farmers.
It will also make packs more volitile and a single [one formula fits all] approach won't work
T1 packs may be higher profit than larders one week, but lower than larders then next.
