    Behavior rules and penalties

    Translate with google!

    huhu,

I would like to bring in the proposal, in order to maintain the behavior and cooperation in the game, that one must orient oneself in the future to a minimum of decency and behavior, otherwise threaten various punishments.

I would like to appeal especially to the chat, as well as today I had to read in the local Nations Chat of Tempest, how other players post sentences like: "I'll ♥♥♥♥ your mother and sister".

You can play the game as a sandbox as you like, but that's not part of the love of Playful Freedom!

    Hence the suggestion:

    first offense: 12 hours spell

    second offense: 3 days spell

third offense: permanent ban from the game, the account will be deleted.

It could be in particularly serious cases, the second violation disregarded and immediately go to maximum punishment. Maybe then finally a more dignified tone of conversation will take place in the chats.

    original post:

    huhu,

ArcheAge is the best sandbox game I know, but where in the world is the sandbox content, where players can help shape this beautiful world?
Where is more choice in houses, farms and vehicles? Where can more areas be used to live in? Why can not we give our cities progress? Better walls, extensions to the port, more ship types and more vessels with a selection of optical designs. (eg another merchant ship, the optical looks a lot different)
Give us players more individual participation options!

They have always had penalties like that. Numerous people have been chatbanned, for periods ranging from a day to several years. However, you need to report people when you see this behavior. Trion cannot monitor chat 24 hours a day. If you right-click their name in chat you should see the choice to report them in the menu there. Or you could screenshot it and send in a ticket.

A chat ban is not the same as an account ban, by the way. Someone with a long-term chat ban can still play, but they can't really communicate with other players in game.

A chat ban usually does not help, because it's exactly these players who also get other ways to humiliate other players and negatively affect their game flow.

Therefore it is quite clear for a general criminal record that includes blocking for the account.

I only know of one person who got a long-term chat ban and continued to play. And if they use any means to circumvent a chat ban, including mail and character actions, you can report that, and they are likely to earn an account ban eventually. What you're asking for has always existed.

The problem is that even when you report people very rarely is anything done about it. You see the same people spewing the same filth over and over. If the do get a chat ban they just switch to an alt to start the same cycle over and over. There should be zero tolerance for things like sexual harassment, threats, real life accusations and real life based harrasment.

No one cares about calling people terrible when the lose fights that thay should always win, or calling people out for dumb things the do in game... but telling people they should kill themselves and that they deserve to be molested in real life over a game should be an instant perma ban.

Epic Erenor Katana - 815.3 DPS.
Epic Erenor Bow - 693 DPS... worse than the gimped weapon even though it's a primary weapon.
"Balance" . . . This doesn't even take in to account the 978.4 epic erenor nodachi, or 978 mAtt staff.

That hasn't been my experience at all. I've spoken to a number of people who had temporary or permanent bans because players reported them for chat abuses. The first offense will rarely get a long-term chat ban, though, and that's a good thing. People deserve a chance to change.

It'll be a lot easier to do when there's only 3 servers per region, lol.

Honestly though, I had a clan mate get chat banned for over a year for foul language, which he definitely deserved (even admitted to deserving it). It is a problem when people abuse a chat banning system though. Sure there's the alts that some use to get around it, but sometimes a butt hurt guild will group up and mass report a person for no wrongdoing. It is best to have staff to review the conversation before a sentence is delivered. Although, many people get carried away with trash talk, and there should definitely be more moderation on it than there is now.
