Changing the position of a house when remodeling

I thought that you could change the position of the house on the lot when you remodeled. I changed a raised swept roof to the spring cottage and had changed the position of the house to be off by 45 degrees, when I built the house it was in the same spot. Maybe I did something wrong or you can't move the position?

Yes it is possible that way. Can't say why it didn't work for you.
But there is another way to do that still: If you remove all decor items, you can change it in the house options for only 10 taxes.

Thanks! That is much cheaper! Note you have to use non bound tax certs. For my house is was only 10 and worked fine. Thanks again! There is a little icon down in the lower right that talks about rotating the building.
