    If anything, Shadehunter trades the ability to kite with pure move speed (> ebonsong style) for the ability to kite via CC interrupt (which can easily turn into an offensive lockdown).
    Mist hell spear can hit'em while facing away from them too (most magic skills actually.. for some dumb reason. haha)! I have lived(and died by the same situation lol) SO MANY times by getting that off while theyre behind me, then proceeding to crows them and watch 80% of their combo (hopefully the cc portion xD) miss, while im stuck in cc's, but Normal Hell spear is definitely great for soundwave attempts + previously mentioned scenario too.

    Since i see no description on shadowsmite you should really try to replace it with Lightning overwhelm it's another nice surviving skill.

    It's not a core part of the class, and more up to player preference. I like that shadowsmite gives me another form of control, in possibly disarming melee opponents, whereas lightning overwhelm often only gets u caught, since it's bounce animation can be interrupted by hard cc. Both are pretty situational imo.

    how about trading bone cage 4 summon wraith mist and put it on ur feets, melees hate 2 jump u on a wraith cuz it slows their combo down badly and u can react

    A solid option, but it was nerfed sometime ago, so it's not as powerful as it was, and you could still be chain cc'd to death by 3-second knockdowns and stuns, instead of going for the immediate burst, if they react to that situation calmly, especially if DWing.

    Trickster banshee would be overall better for that outplay in my imo, BUT I am tempted to give that skill another try, cuz I just thought of an offensive rotation for it thanks to you. Lol

    Thank you so much for posting this Pew - I have been smacking my face off the table for days because I'm so out of touch with the game so was clueless on how not to gimp myself from the start, I've always liked Archery based builds so I'll at least level this to 55 to learn the ropes a bit.

    Can you explain this please? Isn't the primary aim of poison weaps the DOT application? Shadowsmite is for melee but your an archer class, do you rock a nice set of daggers as well then or??
    Also is it wise to poison weap and Shadowsmite from stealth being a fairly squishy archer class? Don't you get stomped?
    I ain't being funny, I want to understand as I really like the look of this and you have presented it very well.

    I ain't being funny, I want to understand as I really like the look of this and you have presented it very well.
    The DoT effect is minimal even if you had a magic weapon, and especially if you have little magic attack/crit stats
    But when you have a poisoned target:
    - Pin Down silences (prevents magic skills and glide activation)
    - Normal and Mist Shadowsmite shackles (prevents physical skills and glider skills) <-- this is what he's talking about using it for
    - Throw Dagger slows
    - Wallop increases damage taken (-2% damage reduction for each hit)

    If you do a bleed combo, the bleed itself is a physical DoT (so being physical, it can trigger poison), so you can 'tag' someone with a bleed then activate poison when you need to make use of a poison combo like shackling a melee that gets up close.
