Are you trying to switch between NA and EU servers ?

Go to your AA folder and change your history.txt file to the previous version

When you look at the glyph launcher you'll see that you can choose your "server group", Europe, NA, test server. Especially during maintenance the version between Europe and NA is different and when you change your server group you'll redownload the full game.
