Is there a difference is the strenght of the eastern or western factions?

is it just me or are there more western players then eastern faction players. Is there a reason for this or is it just preference.

Like people said, back in the days when there were no dwarf/warborn, people would lean towards Human/elf characters instead of the furries and hobbits.
That being said, East had better trade routes back then (where you could skip by climbing mountains and such).
West got an advantage on 1.2 version for halcy as they didn't need to spend *3 hereafterstone to portal (yeah there were no free portal for the event). whereas East has hasla.

Overall There are not a lot of differences, even though East seems to have more benefit. (which kinda disapeared now as they butchered hasla/trade)

It depends on what you call strength. If you’re talking about pvp strength for endgame content... if you have a exclude nations, historically east has been stronger pvp wise on basically every sever except one. Not sure about now on legacy, but that would be a poor guide to go by anyway since nations were dominant for so long and just recently dissolved. But when nations aren’t involved, east is/was always stronger. They usually have less people overall but more people who go to content and pvp. They also tend to work together. West has more people but far more potatoes who don’t care about content, and west infaction drama is much higher. Whether aau will have more west pvpers or east pvpers remains to be seen though.

East can only bench press 315 pounds. West can do 335.

West always had the better trade routes in terms of time. East had the better payouts but takes longer. Time is money.

Skip mountains for 1 or 4 packs. Compared to moving alt train of packs? No competition.

The west zones have a better layout in my opinion. Also, I prefer the high fantasy style of the west vs the aesthetic of the middle & far east of the east zones.
