What do you think about the Credits Marketplace?

    Hey,

As we've addressed in the stream we'd like to know what you would like to be changed / removed / put in to the Credits marketplace, or if you like it the way it is.

Please be as detailed and honest as possible.

You did a pretty good job, but there is still room to improve it.

    1) Remove Saloon Certificate, Gender Swap, Family/Guild Name Change from the Diligence Shop, make them BOUND ON PICKUP and put it in the Credits Marketplace, is pointless having them in the Diligence Shop, when is a fully cosmetic things, and you could make some more clean and honest money.

    2) Remove the Dances/Emotes from the Diligence Shop, keep them BOUND ON PICKUP and put them in the Credits Marketplace, still only Cosmetic, make money out of it.

    3) Remove Dye Ticket from Diligence Shop, make it BOUND ON PICKUP and put it in the Credits MarketPlace, is still only cosmetic, no reason to not make money out of it.

    4) Remove the Other World Storage Chest from the Credit Marketplace (For avoiding backlash from some people) since indeed it give some kind of advantage.

    5) Remove House Fornitures that DO NOT have Bonuses from the Diligence Shop, make them BOUND ON PICKUP and put them in the Credits Marketplace (ONLY if you are able to avoid that a Plot can be sold when these Items are inside of it, or people could sell Fornitures that way)... You can make money out of it.

As long as EVERYTHING is ONLY COSMETIC and IS BOUND ON PICKUP it must and should be in the Credits Marketplace, so you can make more money and avoid in a hypothetical future to put inside the Credits Marketplace more ambigous/problematic Items.

The rule should simply be: "If it does not give ANY KIND OF ADVANTAGE (So pretty much only Cosmetic things like the ones mentioned above) it should be in the Credit MarketPlace" but also remember that EVERYTHING that comes from the Credits Marketplace MUST BE IMPOSSIBLE to sell/trade in any way.
If something can be bought with Credit and sold/traded in any way possibile it give an advantage and will be considered P2W (Even if someone can't whale out of it, even if something will not have a high demands... People don't know or care about these things, when they see something that can be P2W they simply snap and start to destroy the reputation of the Game).

Also they absolutely need to avoid to sell same Items on both shop, if an Item can be bought both by Credit and Diligence (Even if only Cosmetic), that can be converted in indirectly buying Diligence, since if you use Credits, you save up Diligence Coins and you can use them for something else, a thing that a person that do not pay can't do, aka P2W.

Credit shop should contain more of the cosmetic stuff, e.g., the UCC items should be moved to credit shop from diligence, the dyes, saloon certificate, gender swap cert, family name change ticket - make bound versions for credits, and leave the diligence coin items there for sale.
And credits should include more of the cosmetics - Land cosmetics.

There are so many different variations of cosmetic items for that should be up for sale for credits. The issue is that the cosmetics are not bound and can be resold in AH after the land is sold to a new owner.

That might be the biggest issue - if they're bound and can only be sold with the land & stay bound even if sold, then it'd be fine. But that's not a change that can be implemented in 10 days, but maybe an idea to expand on.

Expansion Scrolls should be BIND ON PICKUP in the credit shop this doesn't mean remove them from the diligence shop either. They need to be reduced in price DRASTICALLY in diligence too. Cutting a time gate of 5+ months to 2.5+ months isn't any better.

I think Gamigo and Trion need to really evaluate this. The original complaint people has was selling them on the auction house. this would be solved with them being bound when purchased.

There are numerous threads where almost everyone is in full agreeance of them being listed FULLY BOUND in the credit shop. Don't ignore the players or dismiss it as "troll."

I think that Expansion Scrolls need to be reevaluated as being a diligence only item. Currently they are way to expensive at 50 diligence coins. This is going to cause problems in a version of ArcheAge where the community is pushing to have more and more things bound. This eliminates the ability to add these items to a storage chest and leaves only your 100 slots open for use.

My proposed solution is to make all Expansion Scrolls bind on pickup and sold in the credit shop and diligence shop. This gives everyone the ability to obtain these and would eliminate any ability to trade or sell these. Inventory slots are a convenience and are not something that is pay to win in my opinion. Archeage is a massive game with a massive amount of items and having to chose to throw things away because you don't have the inventory space shouldn't be an option a player has to make.

How is having inventory space an advantage? People will have nowhere to store the massive amount of character bound items Unchained is bringing. It's character bound storage, how is that an advantage at all...

Not quite in favor of putting the Expansion Scrolls in the credit shop now simply because there already was an uproar weeks ago when people thought they would be. This means plenty of people DO think it is too much of an advantage. If Gamigo went back on their word now and put them in the credit shop, I think it would do more harm than good to the game. (Example: I told you guys!! They put the scrolls in the credit shop after all. They don't keep their word and will go full p2w later. REFUNDED!)

Better go with the safe route and leave it as it is now.

I agree with everything here, unsure about #4 though. But I would also like to see the Gilda store and Gold store in the market place in PTS to see if they changed anything there, or just being told that it won't be different when it's released into the live unchained. Would be great if expansion scrolls are added to the gold tab.

Korea has this system already built in. This is something that would just need to be enabled. It's a gold sync with each row costing more than the last.

If you lower the price of expansion scrolls, than the value of the pre-order packs will sink....
If you make them from 50 -> 20 then please add more expansion scrolls to the packs....

Additional scrolls for credits would be ok. Inventory space is not pay to win.
