    Regarding Belstrom Auction House

    The auction house of the EU server Belstrom is not delivering the amount of gold back to the user as intended.

    This is currently being investigated and worked on.

    We'll spread more information about it as soon as possible.

    Belstrom will be coming offline due to Auction House related issues, and we will announce again after issues have been resolved and it is online again. Sorry for the inconvenience during this time.

    Update: Regarding Belstrom being Offline.


    We're currently in the process of restoring the Belstrom Auction house.

    Several deficiencies were identified related to incorrect auction data, including the failure to deliver gold as a result of a completed auction.

    When we initially diagnosed the data, it was apparent that there were other contributing factors that needed to be addressed immediately.

    The team has worked around the clock on these issues and we're making progress at both restoring functionality and cleaning up the incorrect data. It's imperative that the server remains inaccessible while the restoration occurs.

    Some accounts took advantage of this situation and will be disciplined accordingly prior to the server being opened again.

    The team continues to work on restoring the Belstrom Auction House, and cleaning up the resulting incorrect data that was created due to the issue.
    As stated previously, the server needs to remain inaccessible during this time.
    We previously mentioned accounts that took advantage of this situation, and we will be actioning those accounts as appropriate during this extended downtime.

    We understand that you all have been waiting for over 48 hours to gain access to your server again, and that a downtime like this without a solid ETA on when the server will be back up is not ideal, but we need to make sure that the health of the server going forward is maintained, and that any potential fraudulent activity that happened during the auction house issues are cleaned up before we can bring the server online again.

    Once the team has reached the point that the server is ready to be brought online to the public again, we will provide at minimum 2 hours notice before opening the server once again.

    Belstrom will be coming back online today, November 7th, at 9:30 PM UTC. The team has spent the last 3 days going through the Auction House database to ensure that there was no further issues causing players to not get paid out their auctions. That issue has now been resolved fully, and the auction house is back into a properly working state.
    While this issue was ongoing, we discovered additional issues including some auctions not successfully canceling resulting in the ability to reclaim otherwise sold items. Those cases were limited and items were not traveled through the world. 9 accounts were found to be intentionally abusing this issue. Those accounts have been permanently closed, and the items removed from the economy.

    Regarding compensation, we are working on a method of compensation for players on Belstrom with the XLGames team, and should be able to provide additional information about that tomorrow.
