Breaking out of Jail Infinitely in order to Negate Crimes

In the current game, the crime system is a bit harsh, I'm not going to sugarcoat it. To compensate it Gamigo/XL have legitimized the art of breaking out of jail, with a different debuff and less stringent restrictions once you have broken out of jail. This is fine. A tumultuous balance but ultimately one that works. What doesn't work is that when an escaped convict commits another crime and is sent to trial again; and innocent vote there will lead to a complete erasure of all accumulated infamy/crime points, and releasing them completely free. This has led to a meta of repeat-offenders escaping jail and going back to trial on purpose in order to infinitely roll the metaphorical dice. It doesn't take very long either, around 30s for the truly experienced. This allow people to rack up truly ridiculous crime streak without an fear of repercussion as they'd be able to mitigate the punishment to negligible degrees in comparison to the crimes they've committed (if you roll a d20 INFINITE times, and casually negate all non-20 results, you'll inevitably roll a natural 20 eventually). As far as I'm concerned, this is an EXPLOIT; either there has to be penalty for escaping jail, or newer trials cannot negate the time to be served dealt by previous trials. Even reality cannot support an infinite-appeal system, let alone a game wherein the the experience is less and supposed to be more streamlined.

This has been going on in the Deni server for a looooong time they aren't doing anything about it. They aren't going to ban anyone, they aren't going to fix it. There are posts and videos out there showing exactly how to do it. Like getting out by mounting someone elses wagon through a wall and glitching through a wall. They just run out to the guards to purposely get caught and keep on going to trial till they get a jury that gives them innocent.

Iíve seen people repeatedly exploit the jury system and go to trial back to back, up to a dozen times until they are given innocent. I wish Gamingo would do something about this. 😞

Seriously Gamigo, how the ♥♥♥♥ is this still a thing? Our server is devolving into a toxic wasteland because there's no consequences for being a purpling, toxic ♥♥♥♥. The half-decent people are punished if they try to purple to defend against green pirates, and the truly horrible are just re-trialing over and over. This system DOES NOT WORK. Please do something before it spreads like the disease it is.

they should just, when someone is guilty,MUST stay the whole time, and if he escape,he dont go through trial and directly go to jail.

And the only way outt of jail, is to do daily or use the honor potion to reduce crime points
