Should stolen trade goods be split 60/40% ?

That is like someone going to your house and stealing everything, then sending back 40% of what they earned to you. A Thief or Pirate wouldn't do that, so why implement it? There are safer routes, and options of guilds to help make it safer, Have more friends come along to increase the chances of success!

people want it for be 100/0 because they want it to be a "loss" and a big Risk going for the long Trades and not have it at 60/40 because its "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" that pirates only steal 60% from you rather then 100%.. and that the 60/40 is to make the "Cry babies" not go on the forum and complain about it.. Which happened in the Korean version when it was 100/0 as far as i have heard

Well as with every gaming community, the majority of the players that like the game don't go on forums to say that. It's called "vocal minority", listening to it can be really destructive for a game.

um i would take the Risk? but the thing is.. not Everyone would want it to be 100/0 like me.. being a Pirate in Archeage isnt really a Thing you always want to be since you cant visit any of your friends , have a house ect so your missing out a big part of the game.. Pirate is more of a thing you want to be on an Alt character maybe so you can have some fun from time to time.

My biggest problem with MMO communities is the amount of people that feel like "everything should be doable by everyone, no discrimination!". If you are a solo player then no you should not be able to do this particular thing and get rewarded for your stupidity anyway, adapt to the requirements or face the consequences.

i can say the same to you with that.. Adept to the 60/40 nothing you can do about it
also.. can even anyone confirm that if i steal lets say a trade pack of lets say 100 Lemons and if i were to turn it in myself that i crafted i get 9 gold but since i stole it from you and turn it in i get 5.4g and you get 3.6gold? can anyone confirm that?

yea.. if it were to be 100/0 no one would try to trade by them self they would want Escorts and i bet you there will be guilds that will happily be that and take a small Cut depending on the route with 60/40 it will mean that sure its " less for the pirates w/e" it would mean that you might not always need an Escort and people will take the Risk of going by them self rather then buying escorts
