Thread: Unbind Players From Servers.

    Lightbulb Unbind Players From Servers.

    What if... you could join any server you feel like, and not be bound to it.

    Pros:
    - More guild dominions.
    - More drama.
    - More pvp, players will pretty much decide where the pvp is going to be.
    - Farmers can farm.
    - Pack runners can pack run.
    - People that kill pack runners can go to low pop servers and find them.
    - Merged AH clusters.

    Cons:
    - Hero system screwed.
    - Possible problems with events.
    - Obviously land would be bound to the server you got it on.
    - Most likely problems with land hoarders.

    In my opinion it could work, maybe.

    GW2 did the multi-server/megaserver part the way it should always be done.

    Dcuo and teso have megaservers. AA would need to instance the housing zones.

    Some more pros:

    - No more "ded gaem" threads.
    - No more "time4mergev2" threads.
    - No more "our east/west is 2 stronk" threads.
    - No more "alliance is killing content" threads.

    strange how you missed, massive overpopulation and complete imbalance from the con list....

    Apparently starting on a dead server, getting 25 lands, farming your gear, then crying on the boards for a transfer has become a legit tactic on Archeage.

    Look its everything they said it wouldn't be.

    how do u start on a dead server? if a server is dead it should be merged/dismissed in the first place. Game is losing population which is why we see all the complaining. Most of the servers were high pop when the game went live.
