KR 3.5: Crafting Hereafter Stones change

I don't why, but they changed in KR tonight the materials for the hereafter stones

    Old: 2 x Stone Brick - 15 labor = 3 Hereafter stones

    New: 6 x Stone Brick - 30 labor - 1 x Charcoal = 10 Hereafter stones

Currently you can buy a Bound Hereafter stone from a General mechant... not sure about the price.

    What about 3.5?

As a species, we are capable of love, of wonder, of staggering feats of creativity and sensitivity. Yet at the highest, global level, these are not the sentiments which rule. Large scale human history can be seen, as much as anything else, as a series of titanic dramas with the single animating principle: we will ****ing kill you.

    Things to keep in mind:

    - Charcoal can be safe zone runs in 3.5
    - they are reducing the labor and stone brick per hereafter
    - As Orio pointed out, currently there is a hard cap of 50s per stone since they are for sale on the merchant, hopefully that doesn't change
    - Due to charcoal packs having a range of fixed costs in 3.5 so charcoal will have a price range that it remains
    - After the major gear grind slows there is not much to do with charcoal, which is why we see it now hovering around 70s since there is just way too much of it and not enough uses.

This doesn't seem to be that huge of a change, in fact thanks to the labor cost going down it might actually make sense to make them yourself. For instance right now it takes 5 labor per hereafter . . . which means if you can make 10 silver per labor doing something else it is costing you 50s right off the bat to craft a hereafter stone not even including the stone brick. This means that currently it doens't make sens to buy them from anywhere but the general merchant.

So why are they so cheap? Massive amounts of alts who don't really care about labor efficiency. That will remain the same in 3.5.

If it's designed that way then it isn't a bug, stop calling things that.

but the gear grind doesnt slow down in 3.5, nor did it slow down in 3.0. The problem isn't the charcoal supply, the problems are things like the crafting bottle necks created by mysterious garden powder, the bottle necks created by forcing players to single-seed-plant for royal seeds, and the general insane labor costs required to make gear (1k+ starting at illustrious) which no longer make sense in an environment where we are expected to feed 50+ ayanads into a single erenor to make it divine. xlgames has no idea what the hell they are doing. All they know is people progressing as slow as possible due to intentional bottlenecks = content.

That's just it though, people compain about the RNG on RNG on RNG that crafting gear takes. So they convert it so there is less RNG but you actually need more materials so that the cost is roughly equal... people complain that the costs are insane.

Primordial Erenor is meaningless if everyone can get it in two months and then sit around for the next year waiting for new 'content'.
